ED TEIXEIRA
Born and raised in San Jose California Ed Teixeira has been playing guitar most of his life. Coming from a very musical family Ed grew up with a variety of instruments in the house. In the late 80's Ed had the chance to study with metal shredder and David Lee Roth/ Cacophony guitarist Jason Becker. Ed then went on to teach at the South Bay School of Music Arts for over 2 years. Ed has performed live and in studios all over California and the West coast with a variety of original and cover bands. Most recently Ed had the pleasure of auditioning for the Red Hot Chili Peppers where he was considered a finalist for the job before the band settled on Dave Navarro. Ed's ability to cover Gary Rossington is amazing that coupled with his collection of vintage Les Paul's and Marshall amps make him a welcome addition to the Nuthin Fancy team.
